I put the words bungalow, lace doilies, and gardenia in the category things around the house. I put them in it because lace doilies are under lamp or center pieces on tables, or they can be long and go across tables. I chose gardenia because it is a beautiful flower that has a wonderful smell. I put in the group because a lot of people put nice flowers or plants around the house. And i chose bungalow because it is a type of house. It has one floor. My category was houses and house things.

I put the words gardenia, exotic, grandiola, and bungalow. The catagory was things that had to do with gardens and woods. gardenia I chose because in the dictionary it said it was a tree like plant and that goes with gardens and woods, exotic because many plants are exotic which means it comes from out of the country, grandiola because that is a type of plant, bungalow beccause the word bungalow reminds me of cottage and cottages remind me of the woods.

I put the words ciacadas, exotic, gladiolas, and gardenia in a category about nature. I choose these because a ciacada is a type of bug that hides in the ground for years and then comes out finally. I choose exotic because many thing in nature are described as exotic, or diffrent. I choose gladiolas because gladiolas are a type of flower and flowers definetly involve nature. I choose the word gardenia because a gardenia is a mythical, naturery place, so that would involve nature.

I decided to use the words exotic, cicada, and gardenia. My theme was things you may find in a garden or in the woods. I chose gardenia because it is a a tree or shrub with fragrant white or yellow flowers. I used exotic because you never know what type of plant you are going to find in a garden. Lastly, I decided to use the word cicada because it is a bug and you will find a large number of bugs in a garden.

I put the words lace doilies, gardenia, and grandiola, because they're all plants. A lace doilie is a plant. So is a gardenia, they smell really good. and grandiola is also a plant.

I chose hate mongers, naively, incommunicado, disgruntled and placate because the person would have to show a lack of judgement in order to do any of these things. A hate monger is someone who is a trouble maker and a trouble maker would probably have to be disgruntled or put in a bad mood if they caused so much trouble. If you couldn't communicate with others (incommunicado) you also could be disgrutled or a hate monger. You could placate or calm anger if someone was one of the 3 things that I listed before. these all go together because the words all are explaining reasons why people might get mad or are mad.

Yo! What's up?
My partner was Jacob so we have the same one. I put exotic, bungalow, gardenia and ciacades together because they all were or were definitions of something from outside this country. First, exotic because it me1ans foreign or alien so odviously its from a different country. Bungalow because when I looked it up in the dictionary it said it was Hindi and again odviously that's from a different country. Gardenia because it's a flower and when I think or flowers I think or Brazil and all the flowers they have there. And lastly ciacades because it's a bug also from Hindi so once again thats's from a different country. Another catigory you could put this in is this you find in a garden nature or woods. Those work too but I felt the one that I did worked better.

I put the words Lacquer, Bona fide, Bungalow, Cicadac, and incommunicado in a group called words that don't sound english. I put lacquer in the group because it sounds like a french sauce. I put Bona fide in the group because it sounds like Napolion Boneaparte. I put bungalow in the group because it is a small hut in Africa. I put cicadac in the group because it is a weird bug. Last, I put incommunicado in the group because it is a very big word.

I put the words Lace Doilies, Bungalo, pungent, affluent in my category because they all have something to do with a house. Lace Doilies you can find in a house, Bungalo is a type of a house, and a house can smell pungent.

Very interesting categories! I enjoyed your reasoning. One note-some of you incorrectly defined lace doilies as a plant, flower, living thing. Lace doilies are made of lace (thread-fabric) and were used as a decoration inside the home. Remember, I brought some of the lace doilies that my grandma had crocheted to show you??

My partner and I decided that our words are placate, hatemongers, disgruntled, naively, and humiliating. These words are the feelings of the improsined Japaneese Americans after being there for a while.

I had the words Cicada, exotic, gladiolas, and gardenia. This group is about nature. Cicadas are a bug that lives in nature, so that fits in the group. Things in nature are exotic and interesting. Gladiolas are Yoshi's mom's favorite flowers. Gardenias are another type of flower.
