The interning of one group of Americans during a national crisis set a PRECEDENT-a way of acting that may serve as a guide for future action. Why might this precedent be a dangerous one to have around?

It might be dangerous because it could cause people to go on a riot and they might hurt people. Also it could provoke a big war between the U.S. citizens and the Japanese Americans.
It could be dangerous because they could make many people cause fights and maybe start a war. Also it could change many people and the whole community.
It might be dangerous to have around because the Japanese Americans, possibly the Japanese might form a rebellion against the Americans. There could be war, more time in concentration camps, there are many possibilities
It might be dangerous because when the Japanese Americans would be let out they might be mad at the U.S. and start a fight or riot. Then average Americans would start worrying about there freedom and stop trusting the government.
I think it would be dangerous because it will make people mad and the government and many civilians might be put in grave danger because in this case the japanese might want to resist or seek revenge which may result in mass murder attacks on innocent people or government officials and buildings or cities and famous reigning political figures. Another possible outcome may be a civil war between descendants from the Japenese Empire and American Patriots. Another possible outcome is Japenese Americans might want revenge and might become spies or soldiers for the forces of The Empire of Japan. Some may also simply leave the United States. One of the worst is to rebel and attempt to destroy Americas interior like the economy and the government. They may start riots to make the government give them their stuff back. Those are just some of the possibilities the could be the outcome and how dangerous it would become if the government did that. Ofcourse there are many possibilities that could become of this problem. Anything is possible in this world and there are probably more possible outcomes and some may be even more bizare than you're wildest dreams. The universe is ifanant so there are endless possibilities. It would just take a rebel with an imaginitave mind to change the world and start revolutions but it also takes ones bravery and courage. So the world may not know what it would have been like if the Japanese Americans would have decided to rebel against our government, after all there are endless possibilities.Just think.
It would be dangerous because people could rebel and use violence which would cause people to get hurt. Plus that would just get the government even more mad and they could get into trouble.
This might be dangerous to have around because know that they have done it once they might do it again thinking "Oh, it wasn't hard to rally up Japanese in the first place, we should do it again." It also might be an inspiration because if it is used as a guide it could provoke them to do it again with some prejudice they have.
It could be dangerous because people get stirred up over all this and possibly start protests and such. during some riots, police get involved and some people my fight back and get hurt.
It may be dangerous because the Japanese might still be angry about what happened. They might react violently, and some might not. Some may have had children after they were freed, and those children might hold a grudge against the government on how their parents were treated. The children/grandchildren (and again) might react in violent and nonviolent ways, and there are worst case scenarios as much as best.
I think that it would be dangerous because when the Japanese get out some of the more rebelious ones might want to start a war against the Americans and the political figures who encouraged the internment camps. The Japanese might even get more men or women from Japan come and support their cause. Japan could also plan another attack on America because they have insiders to tell them how to do it and what the Americans weakness is. People who weren't even a part of the camps would also be in danger. The original hatred might have gone up a lot.
It would be dangerous because it could start a war between Japan and America. Japanese americans and Americans might start riots against the government and it could result in an assination of an important government leader. Or the americans might get the wrong idea start to humiliate the Japanese Americans when the got out of th Japanese might retaliate resulting in death.
It could be dangerous because if the Japanese found out about it, affter they got out they obviosly wouldn't be happy with them and may try to hurt people.
This could be dangerous because Americans may become prejeduce towards the Japanese until the end of time. Mass fighting would occur, the Japanese Americans might form some cult against the U.S. and could attack us a lot.
It may be dangerous because people could get angry and go on a riot and hurt people. It could even get so bad it could start a war between Japan and the US.
This might be dangerous because if the people they are gathering up know what we did to the japanese they might attack or protest. Also it could result in a very bad war with us and the enemy.
This would be dangerous because if the people from the internment camps had gotten out, they would have done many violent things. One, would be to attack those who put them in the internment camp. Although, if the Japanese hadn't talked as much about it, we might not have realized what we were doing and would have done it to others. this would have lead to many other wars. Then, in the end, would have lead to more violence.
This could be dangerous for many reasons. First it would make many people mad and could cause a large riot. It could also be bad because it could cause people to become angry with the government and officals could get hurt. these are just 2 reasons this precedent could be dangerous. kaitlin
This would be dangerous because the Japanese Americans could get mad and go on a riot and that would be bad. Also, they might start a war between the Us and the Japanese Americans. Or they could form groups against the government. Finally the government could bring it out again if something else happened and do it again because it wasn't closed for a long time. -Madelynn G :)
it would be dangerous because if we went to war with great Britain, a whole lot of people would would be interned and instead of other Americans paying they would have to pay to be interned. also if we went to war with them and Mexico or Canada or China or Germany there would be no one left to fight then the enemy (whoever that is) would destroy us.
It would be dangerous because the japanese would get angry with the U.S for putting them into the internment camps, and they might cause a war between the two countries.
This might have been a ltittle dangerous. Becuz some of the Jaoenese were very angry they could have possibly gotten together a group of people that would all have the ssaem furious perspective as the person that starts the group. They could possibly make plans such as riots and overall nusiance . So i think that the guards at internment camps had to keep a close eye out for any suspicious activites. I dont blame the Japenses for being mad I would be to if someone all of a sudden told me to leave my house and then they took all of my stuff i know one thing i would resist and ask what s happening and be mad. If i were a Japense person i would probably have been frustrated at the camps but not that much to start forming violent mob groups i would agrue with guards though rather i get shot or not.
It might be dangerous because they could rally up a ton of Japanese Americans and start a riot or a war. The riot or war might weaken the United States.
Precedents just like the one in the "Invisible Tread" can be dangerous to everyone in the community. They can be dangerous to everyone because once something has been done it has been done and you can't stop which gives the people the sense that they can do it over and over again, and never have the bad feeling telling them to stop. Until another person finally has the guts to try to stop it but one person alone cant do it, it needs a big group of people to agree (Like what happened to the Japanese many years after world war two). So that event in history tells us to never do anything like that again and just live in a peaceful community.
I am a mom, a wife and a teacher and I love it all! I am a little weird because I really LIKE Middle Schoolers! I love to read the books that my students read and I love to talk to them about their reading. If I couldn't be a teacher, I might be a backup singer and dancer for Aerosmith (but I can't sing one bit!)

I think it would be dangrous because then the average person would be very scared and frightened. which might lead to a giant civil war.

This might be dangerous because it could cause war or make people act differently towards a different kind of person or people then them.

Great thoughts everyone, but especially read Soley's comment-she is on the right track!! Way to go!
